Your pets can stay in familiar surroundings while being cared for by a  professional, insured pet sitter who will make sure they get cuddles,  snuggles and belly rubs.  Maintaining your pet’s usual schedule is easy  to do and will greatly reduce the amount of stress your pets might have  in your absence. Boarding facilities such as doggie day cares can be  traumatic for pets who aren’t used to being in such facilities.  They  can become overstimulated, they are exposed to possible illnesses, and  due to the amount of pets at the facility, your pets may not get the  attention he needs.  In addition to caring for your pets, a professional  pet sitter will take care of your home by bringing in mail, rotating  lights, closing blinds, etc.  If there’s a problem in your home, your  pet sitter will notify you. Overall, you will have peace of mind knowing  your pets and your home are safe.  

Yes!  Lucky Lab Pet Sitting is insured and bonded to protect your pet and home while in our care.

We care for dogs (all breeds), cats, birds, fish, turtles, lizards, snakes, rabbits, mice, rats, hamsters, chickens, chinchillas, guinea pigs, etc.  We've even had horse clients at one time.  You MUST disclose if your pet has a bite history.  For the safety of your pet(s) and our sitters, we will make a decision on a case by case basis with pets that have a bite history.

We 

Each client is special and has different requirements. Typically, dogs schedule 2-4  visits per day and those with cats only (no dogs) request 1-2 visits daily. This can be customized or changed as necessary to  meet the needs of your pet(s) and your schedule. We are happy to accommodate special requirements that are time  sensitive as much as possible. 

If our schedule allows, we are happy to try to accommodate longer visits for special circumstances.  Please contact us for availability and pricing. 

Yes, our sitters are educated in dispensing oral medications, drops, topical medications, injections and sub-Q fluids. There is no additional charge for dispensing medications of any kind. 

We accept Venmo, Zelle, Cash, and Credit/Debit cards

Payments are due 3 days prior to the start date of requested service during non-peak times.  

For holiday bookings, payments are due 5 days prior to the start date of requested service. 

There will be a $25 late fee if payment is made after the start of services.

We currently service  Johns Creek and some areas of Alpharetta and south Forsyth.

Getting started is a breeze! Just reach out to us via phone, or shoot us an email. Once we establish that we're a  perfect fit for each other, we'll arrange a Meet & Greet to conclude your pet's on boarding process. 

 The “meet and greet” gives us the opportunity to get to know each other,  familiarize ourselves with your home and most importantly, spend time getting to know your pets. In addition, if we have questions about your  instructions, we can get clarification. There is a charge of $20 for any additional meetings.

We prioritize your peace of mind when it comes to pet sitting. Except in rare cases, we always send a sitter you’ve met before. To enhance your comfort, we typically send two sitters to the meet-and-greet. This way, if your primary sitter is unavailable due to illness or an emergency, the backup sitter—who’s already familiar with you, your pets, and all necessary notes—can seamlessly take over. Plus, if your regular sitter isn't available for future bookings, the backup sitter is ready to step in! 

Please be prepared to provide us with a key and/or garage door opener, alarm codes, & gate codes.  

The safety of your home is a top priority for us.   

To streamline future bookings, we kindly ask for the following:

1. Key Access: Please provide us with a key to securely keep on-hand for future reservations. If you prefer we do not retain the key, we will need to arrange for pickup and drop-off at a fee of $5 each way.
2. Access Codes: Additionally, please provide the garage door opener, alarm codes, and gate codes necessary for entry.

 We book our jobs on a first come, first served basis and late notice cancellations generally make it impossible to re-book the time that was  reserved to care for your animals. With this in mind, the following  cancellation fees will apply: 

• Non-Peak Times:
  • 72 hours' notice required for full credit toward a future booking.

• Holidays:
  • 7 days' notice required for full credit toward a future booking. Holidays include:
    • Spring Break
    • Memorial Day
    • 4th of July
    • Labor Day
    • Thanksgiving
    • Christmas
    • New Year's

• Late Cancellations:
  • No credit will be given for cancellations made after the required notice period or after the booking has started.

We recognize the significance of maintaining clear communication regarding  your pet's well-being in your absence.  Your sitter will text you with an update and pictures once or twice a day depending on how many visits we do.  

Absolutely!  We work on the holidays so that you can enjoy time with friends and family. Holiday fees are added to each visit. 

Do to liability and insurance, we do not offer pet sitting in our own homes.

We do not offer dog training.  However, from our own personal experience, we highly recommend the following:

In the unlikely event of a staff emergency, we have a backup team ready to step in and provide care, ensuring continuity and reliability. Moreover, our management team actively monitors the  schedule, guaranteeing that all visits are executed as planned. Rest  assured, you can trust that your pets will consistently receive the care  they need without any concerns. 

No - for safety and  insurance/liability reason we do not accommodate shared visits. 

When you start to plan a trip one of the first things you  should do is check with your pet sitter.  It is best to get on their  schedule as soon as possible. Reservation approval is subject to our  availability.  For overnights or live in services, at least a month in advance is best but typically longer for peak times or holidays. Pet visits are best scheduled at least 2 weeks in advance. But feel free to reach out with whatever dates you have in mind and we’ll do our best to accommodate. 

If you get delayed, please contact your sitter and we will continue service until you inform us of your return home. We pay close attention to travel information and weather forecasts to anticipate such events. 

We are very grateful to our clients that send referrals to us. As our way to say "thank you" we gift 1 free visit to you after the new client completes their first booking.  These visits do not expire and you can use them at any time.
